Job description :
Direct the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials
from the receipt of the projects materials forecasting to the delivery of the projects.
Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure the process is operating at the highest level of performance
based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts with the main suppliers.
Negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency.
Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.
Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and
manages performance to ensure attainment.
Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information,
problem solve, and to clarify management objectives.
Working closely with suppliers and project managers to improve operations and reduce cost.
Maintain & Develop the supply chain related strategies, policies and procedures
Manage and apply all applications related to the Oracle ERP System
Asset & Budget Management
Identify and manage risk within the supply chain.
Develop and continuously improve suppliers programs.
Job Specifications & Qualifications:
Education MBA & Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant degree.
Experience At least 15 years’ experience in supply chain.
Language Skills Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Arabic
Proficient computer user specially Microsoft Office package.
Previous experience in dealing with ERP systems mainly ORACLE
Up-to-date knowledge of supply chain new trends and methodologieBusiness/strategic orientation
