DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and monitor department standards, practices, procedures and utilize SAP via
integrated systems to enforce execution.
Lead the process for identifying, developing, and implementing advanced planning
methods, systems, and tools, in order to improve forecast accuracy and inventory
Assess the organization’s knowledge and resources to produce sales forecasts that will
be used in Sales and Operations Planning
Continuously improve the sales forecasting processes and systems, ensuring that
forecast accuracy is consistently improving
Develop and manage the rules for order acceptance and forecast consumption
Work with other departments including Operations, New Product Development and
Supply Chain to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to customers
Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) and scrutinize current and future
forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed properly
by Demand Planners.
Systematize the creation of top-level reports to monitor the purchasing and financial
performance indicators by the Planning team. Facilitate the Senior Management
Forecasting and Inventory management meeting focusing on cross functional
communication, direction setting, risk management, and conflict resolution .
Successfully and accurately control ERP system and processes, from forecast upload to
generation of all inventory reporting .
Manage and resolve issues proficiently that impede planned strategic progress.
Prepare the annual purchase budget and plan, and ensure to obtain best accuracy level
throughout the year.
Manage the settlement of financial transactions with Finance so as to establish smooth
practice with suppliers.
Researching new suppliers & negotiating prices.
Perform other duties as assigned by in-charge, able to work overtime when required.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE (COMPETENCIES REQUIRED)
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience as Demand Planner for manufacturing industry
Effectively can read, write and communicate in English and Arabic.
Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office) and SAP.
Ability to gather & classify data, strong analyzing skills, multi-task activities, follow-up and
build effective team work.
Strong Analyzing skills, time management skills, problem solving.
