Job Purpose & Objectives:
To manage all Quality & Health & Safety and Environment related issues for the branch and maintain the Integrated Management System(s) (IMS) and its components 2 Tasks & Key Result Areas:
Manage all QHSE activities within the operations zone of the company.
Ensure that all operations are undertaken according to the company’s QHSE procedures and policies as in the IMS and compliant with local regulations.
Provide guidelines to all employees on the various operational levels and provide advice or suitable solutions to problems faced and prevention control.
Ensure that a system is in place for the provision of functional safety equipment as and when required.
Ensure that a system is in place so that all personnel are aware of all safety issues and potential risks in any of our jobs that are undertaken.
Administering, maintaining and expanding the reach of the IMS.
Carry out internal audits as per IMS and ‘Think Safe’ policies 3 Responsibilities:
Ultimately responsible for the day to day functional management of QHSE systems within the branch.
QHSE Branch representatives (officers, managers or ~controllers) and site HSE professionals or substitutes..
Degree in engineering or chemistry, NEBOSH OSHA & IOSH degrees are a must Experience:
5 years experience with Safety and Safety Management Systems on lower levels. Unrivalled knowledge of safety codes and guidelines.
