Job description :

The role holder heads the Mobile Group and is responsible for driving the end-to-end mobile application development at the company. He works closely with his team members in the Group, members of other groups in the company, and with end customers to deliver highly-functional, secure and reliable mobile applications in a cost-effective way.

He is responsible for selecting, developing and motivating a strong team of mobile developers, and optimizing their productivity, and work quality. He is also in charge of setting and monitoring best-of-breed, contemporary mobile development methodologies, standards and tools.
Establishing and Monitoring Development Standards, Methodologies and Tools
• Selecting and implementing best tools for mobile development, quality management, application performance assurance and security
• Ensure utilization of latest standards and tools
Hiring, Managing, Developing and Engaging Team Members
• Plan for manpower needs in the Mobile Group
• Work with HR to develop role profiles, competencies and job descriptions
• Work with HR and management to hire unique talents
• Assign clear team roles and responsibilities
• Continuously develop, mentor and engage staff
Manage Mobile Application Development Lifecycle
• Product road mapping
• Process control
• Automated testing
• Quality assurance
• User documentation

• Product delivery & deployment
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, business administration or related fields
• 10 years of total experience in Software development / applications domain.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in mobile application development
• 4 years of leading mobile development teams
• Experience in mobile application development languages, tools, methodologies and standards
• Customer-facing experience in mobile development scenarios
• Knowledge of latest trends in mobile development and in ICT in general
• Strong agile development skills and knowledge
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Team development and leadership skills
• Strong client facing skills
• Strong Analytical skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to select, implement and monitor new work systems
• Ability to work effectively in a changing work environment and in short project deadlines
