Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Scope of the job:
Ensure correct asset management to ensure that all equipment and buildings are maintained by Maintenance standards in the most economical way. Propose & implement effective maintenance management system over all plant\\\'s equipment.
•Perform daily inspections & maintenance on all brewery equipment.
•Execute and follow the maintenance plane for all brewery equipment to be on time in full.
•Work hand in hand with the other departments to achieve effective maintenance standards.
•Assist, maintain and repair all plant’s equipment.
•Lead the corrective maintenance team during plant operation and extend overall technical support.
•Responsible for correct and timely data entry into the plant maintenance system.
•Responsible to follow up purchase orders related to his job.
•Check all the problems (M/E) during operation and advise all possible steps to prevent re-occurrence.
•Report on line’s daily maintenance activities.
•Plan & supervise the overall activities of each mechanic in his respective areas and skills.
•Monitor spare parts requirements.
•Train technicians on scientific trouble shooting and make sure they are trained on required technical skills.
•Ensure safe working area by complying with the safety regulations & standards in his/her area and to make sure that all team members are wearing the required PPE’s as well as all safety devices are functioning properly.
•Apply 5S, housekeeping standards in the Maintenances Areas.
•Work with the TPM methodologies to minimize all types of losses ( e.g. breakdowns, minor stops, extract losses, ..Etc.).
•Make sure that all technicians are well trained and completely understand their machine concept theory of operation.
•Train the technicians on what should be done and how (through OPLs) in order to ensure the needed flexibility.
•Motivate problem solving techniques RCFAS, BDA, 5WHY, with his team supervisor.
•Share the monthly Maintenance reports figure with his supervisors.
•Ensure the full implementation of the HACCP standards
•Control the spare parts and auxiliaries/consumables materials.
•Asset in the investigation of the safety incidents / accidents.
•Motivate his/her team members and create a healthy working environment.
•Motivate near miss & un-safe condition reporting by his/her team members.
•Report issues related to his/her area to maintenance supervisor.
•Lead & participate actively in PM Teams.
•Motivate tags issuing & tags removal by technicians.
•Cascade down to his team members the company policy, directions and strategy.
•Evaluate the performance of his team members through the performance evaluation process.
•Ensure the efficient implementation of the CILT audit standards applied in his area.
•Insure that all the required quality checks for the quality machines on line (e.g., EBI, Checkmate, Pasteurizer, Etc.) has no deviations from the standard by adjusting the required necessary parameters.
•Responsible to implement and follow up TPM requirements in the plant.
•Responsible to implement and follow up SHE requirements in the plant.
